Last week on Photo Saturday, we tempted you with a stunning image of the Angolo Beach at Sperlonga. This week, the beach trip continues (thank goodness!) as photographer Susan Sanders shows us the tiny but much-loved chapel of San Rocco, also in lovely Sperlonga.
This almost-on-the-seaside chapel is eternally well-kept — always full of flowers, blazing candles, devotional images, and hand-written signs informing passers-by of religious feasts with notices that change throughout the course of the year, but say things like “May is the month of Mary” or “June is the month of the Sacred Heart.”
