If you’ve been reading eCool for a while, you’ve probably noticed that our intrepid photographer, Susan Sanders, has a thing for Rome’s street performers. She’s fascinated by them and by the contrast that create with their often-ancient backdrops.
This week, while scouting about the Palatine Hill, Susan spotted a King Tut who’d had enough. Rather than standing in perfect posture, this modern pharaoh was taking a break, sitting against the fence and hoping that tourists might still drop a coin or two into his golden cup.
